Zak Kyes Working With… exhibition poster (2011)

Poster for an exhibition at the Galerie für zeitgenössische Kunst, Leipzig, in collaboration with artist Joseph Grigely. The material shown in the poster is drawn from Grigely’s extensive collection of exhibition invitations. The announcement for the GfzK exhibition is quietly placed amongst the other cards, and the arrangement subsequently photographed to make the image for the poster. The poster was conceived to be pinned on public display boards in the locality – ideally the busier and more disorderly the better, allowing the poster to become immersed in the many other flyers and announcements.
