We were delighted to work with Wicklow Wolf Brewing Co. on their brand refresh, which coincided with the launch of their new brewing facility in Newtownmountkennedy.
A key feature of this project was the decision by the team at Wicklow Wolf to move from bottles to cans. We wanted to educate the consumer that not only did cans ensure a better quality beer, but is also a more sustainable way to produce great beer. A better beer for our planet.
We collaborated with Wicklow Wolf on delivering a total brand overhaul from start to finish on a huge variety of both On & Off-trade applications, including: Their 8 core beer labels, the redesign of their limited edition beer labels and their special Locavore edition which is brewed with hops from their own farm. Other application included posters, beer mats, t-shirts, tote bags, graphics & signage for their new brewery and social media posts.
The design features the recognisable profile of the Sugar Loaf that has been incorporated in the die cut of the can labels. The Cans have been stock printed especially for the Brewery featuring clouds as the backdrop for the label. Acknowledging and respecting the brand equity in their current wolf silhouette, we proceeded to move the brand into a more established and atmospheric space using evocative photography of the Wicklow wilderness. Dynamic bold type setting gives the range presence and creates a strong cumulative effect on shelf.
With work still on-going on this immense project, it has been a fantastic experience and we look forward to more great things to come from the brewery.
