When Next We Meet is a boutique festival that set its roots in the Summer of 2022.
A shared artist and audience experience that aims to reshape the way in which we all interact. Atmosphere, collaboration and community is at the core of this project, in which artistic exchange happens between all those attending and playing.
The WNWM wordmark is a nod to the values and atmosphere of the festival, creating a sense of community and calling to the idea that the event will be a hub for artistic exchange. The varied, playful letterforms give the mark an expert sensibility and helps set the brand apart.
Playful type is at the heart of this high-spirited identity, complemented by vibrant colours and scribbly, illustrative accents, to create a tangible brand full of life, diversity and joy. The scenic venue lovingly acted as our first touch point on how to approach the branding, Finding a way to show appreciation for the beautiful natural setting and the trees that hug the landscape. We sought out typefaces rich with humanist features and characters which reflected nature by visually showcasing imperfections and growth.
