Theatre Forum is the representative association for theatre and the performing arts in Ireland.
In adopting ‘Change’ as their theme, the 2013 Theatre Forum Conference sought to explore new and more imaginative ways of thinking and working.
The visual identity had to embody this ethos, representing the role of change as a positive and dynamic force in contemporary theatre. The morphing, overlaid letterforms of the logotype create a strong, identifiable visual palette on which the identity hinges. Forms from the logo reappear on conference name tags, tote bags and pages from the programme. As with previous years, the colour scheme was a central element to the identity – all material being printed in two spot colours and black. Each colour signifies one day of the conference’s two day schedule.
