The wider world feeds into the Whiskey industry in a substantial way. Whiskey by its very nature of exploration pulls from different barrels that aged different spirits to imbue unique profiles and aspects into each whiskey expression. A perfect concept for whiskey releases aimed for the world reaching travel retail market.

Available only in Dublin airport, a series of three whiskeys would be released over a year all of which would be finished in different barrels from all over the world; Moscatel Barrels from Portugal, Rum Barrels from Barbados and Tokaj Barrels from Hungary.

To capture the wonder of flight, a design structure was developed that was influenced by the dials of old airplanes. The main label houses a compass that not only points to the direction of each county but also sits in the foreground of a series of illustrations that depict the airport of each finishing casks country of origin.

The styling is that of old 50’s and 60’s travel posters and adding an extra level of detail we depicted an era appropriate plane as our consistent character that is taxing up to the airports of the same vintage.

A unique single bottle carton that depicts a full array of various aviation dials rounds out the concept and when multiples of the carton are stack on shelf they give a wall of dials akin to a full cockpit.
