The Board of Works is a dynamic DJ trio from Naas and Newbridge, bringing people together through electrifying sets and a strong sense of community. Their Members Only gig series is more than just a string of events; it’s a movement, a shared experience where music serves as the great unifier. This poster series visually translates their ethos of solidarity, nostalgia, and underground culture into a striking and cohesive campaign.

The design takes inspiration from the collective spirit of working-class communities, drawing from historical references, public domain found imagery, and digitally assembled collage elements. Each poster is a tactile, layered composition that echoes the DIY ethos of underground club culture, evoking the feeling of a gig flyer passed from hand to hand, pinned to a noticeboard, or wheat-pasted onto urban walls.

Rough-cut imagery, distressed textures, and bold, no-nonsense type treatments give the series an aesthetic that speaks directly to the audience while honoring the grassroots nature of the Members Only concept.
