Working closely with Dr. Emma Farrell from UCD School of Education, The Belonging Project delved into the nuanced theme of 'belonging' in the academic world. Recognising the value of diverse perspectives, we collaborated with NCAD Bureau+ to bring a visual layer to the written contributions. Our role extended beyond just design; we were also involved in briefing the students as part of Bureau+.
The project culminated in a multi-disciplinary showcase, featuring 40 selected pieces from the UCD/NCAD community. These were thoughtfully interpreted by NCAD Bureau+ students and displayed in a curated exhibition at the Museum of Literature Ireland. The showcase was complemented by a seminar, featuring voices from both university communities, rounding off an event that truly captured the essence of 'belonging.'
