When rebranding The Bank on College Green in Dublin’s City Centre we aimed to balance its historic charm with a modern identity. As an iconic landmark, it requires maintaining the integrity of its 19th-century architecture while making it appealing to contemporary audiences. The challenge includes updating visual elements, enhancing customer experience, and aligning the brand with current market expectations without losing its prestigious, heritage-rich essence.  

The logo mark calls out to the grandeur and elegance of the building’s original features, with the ‘Bird’ referencing the ornate illustrations in the skylight. This ensures that the brand retained its sense of history. At the same time, we incorporated subtle modern elements into the design. Updated signage and branding materials featured sleek, modern typography and a refined colour palette, which complemented the existing architectural aesthetics. 

The rebranding also emphasized the venue’s cultural and social relevance in Dublin’s City Centre. By connecting the historic identity of the building with contemporary trends in dining and entertainment, The Bank on College Green is being transformed into a modern destination while honouring its rich past.
