The website needed to represent the festival as a must-visit event, improve programme clarity, boost ticket sales, support fundraising, and be user-friendly. Additionally, it aimed to broaden audience demographics and highlight Dublin’s attractions to encourage longer stays.
To achieve this, we conducted an in-depth audience analysis, shaping a design that prioritised user needs. The new layout enhances user experience while maintaining the festival’s vibrant brand identity through bold typography, a striking colour palette, and dynamic visual elements that reflect the festival’s energy.
The refreshed design amplifies the excitement of the festival while ensuring ease of use across all devices.
Universal Design and sustainability were central to our approach. We optimised media and code to reduce the site’s carbon footprint and adhered to WCAG 2.2 Level AA guidelines for accessibility.
