Signal/Verne

A small-format Wire-O bound illustrated specimen book for a type foundry, printed in two matched colors on 170gsm Munken Kristall Rough. The text, an excerpt from Jules Verne’s 1865 From the Earth to the Moon (De la Terre à la Lune, Trajet Direct en 97 Heures 20 Minutes), is set in a selection of the foundry’s typefaces and can be read continuously from the first page of the booklet to the last. The central spread reproduces one of Édouard Riou’s original engraved illustrations.
