Publicis Dublin was approached by Iarnród Éireann to create a campaign that would encourage families to rediscover train travel as a source of excitement and wide-eyed joy. We wanted to create a nostalgic feel that looked back to the golden age of vintage travel posters, combining a mid-century illustration and typography style with scenes of today's typical passengers.
Later on, the series broadened to take in business travellers and seasonal variations.
