Rachel Khoo (2014)

Rachel Khoo is a BBC TV presenter, food writer and creative. She is the author of best selling cook books ‘The Little Paris Kitchen’ and ‘My Little French Kitchen’. With a new cookbook, ‘Rachel Khoo’s Kitchen Notebook’, to be released and a TV series, with BBC Worldwide, in the pipeline she had decided it was time for a new website.

Rachel creates a lot of new content for her site every week and is very active on social media so the website we created needed to accomodate all of the interesting content she was producing and present it in a beautiful way. In our early discussions with Rachel she expressed a desire to make the website much more in keeping with the notebooks she jots her ideas in. These notebooks proved to be the inspiration for the site with scanned illustrations and washi tape elements used in our designs. The site has been designed to work just as beautifully on a smartphone as on a tablet and desktop computer.
