The roll out of an Arts Council Policy on the fair and equitable remuneration and contracting of artists.
Paying the Artist is a campaign set up as part of a three-year plan for 2020–22. It focused on research, developing capacity, advocacy, and compliance with best practices in order to improve standards.
Works consisted of a 16 page booklet which outlined the campaign vision, scope of policy, best practice principles and an implementation plan. It also included a photocall prop which various advocates of the campaign could hold for press photos as well as social media posts, badges, t-shirts and other ephemera to further promote the campaign.
