In a collaboration with the International and Offshore Energy Division (IOED) to support the Department of the Environment, Climate and Communications (DECC) in the South Coast Offshore Renewable Energy Designated Maritime Area Plan (SC-DMAP) consultation, our team focused on creating a coherent, lively and engaging suite of materials to capture the attention and opinions of the local communities in the South Coast. Our design team focused on utilising the Government of Ireland’s brand guidelines to develop a friendly visual language that could stretch across varying media types, such as posters, newspaper adverts, digital assets, infographics, and a draft report.

The theme of co-existence played a large part in the presentation of the graphics – both at sea and among the creative suite. Our goal was to balance creativity with professionalism, delivering designs that were visually appealing yet functional for stakeholder engagement. By incorporating friendly imagery, clear infographics, and consistent use of the Government of Ireland brand palette, we created a unified aesthetic across all materials, which ultimately aided the lengthy consultation process among the local community.
