Next Act

Next Act is a community of scientists, teachers and education researchers who, like many, are acutely aware of the existential challenges that Climate Change poses and the need for meaningful responses. 

Our involvement began at the project’s inception in helping to choose the name Next Act. Since then, we have worked closely with project leaders Shane Bergin, Rosie Carroll, and Chris Chapman, to produce branding, art direction, educational materials, and a website to share their research and other resources. 

Inspired by the graphics of protest placards, the Next Act branding pairs bold typography and colour, with white ‘overprinted’ illustrations to create an aesthetic tone that is assertive and academic, while remaining accessible and optimistic.
