Native Cabins

Native Cabins was founded by Didi and Simon Ronan in Ballydehob, West Cork, with a mission to create a beautiful Irish brand that celebrates local design while making a positive environmental impact. With their new guesthouse in a refurbished farmhouse as the first step—alongside plans for a range of cabins and a large-scale rewilding project—they needed a website that showcased their story, location, and ethos to the more discerning tourist.

Building on the brand developed by Eibhlin Doran, we crafted an ethereal digital experience. The layered photography aesthetic—combining multiple perspectives, transparencies, and textures—adds depth and intrigue, mirroring the organic, ever-changing nature of the location itself. This approach enhances the sense of discovery, inviting visitors to explore the environment as if they were already immersed in it.

Site photography and video capture the unique textures and ambience of the spaces, reflecting both the natural beauty and sustainable ethos of Native Cabins. We also art-directed photography and video vignettes, ensuring they embodied the brand’s aesthetic while drawing viewers into the atmosphere of the landscape and interiors. This approach not only tells the story of the brand but also teases the immersive visitor experience that awaits.

Our solution was a clean, intuitive website that marries striking visuals with straightforward navigation. Designed to engage visitors and facilitate easy booking of their select range of spaces, the site offers a streamlined user journey that seamlessly integrates the brand’s narrative with essential functionality.
