We collaborated with THEA to design an identity for a project set to transform student experiences in Ireland’s Technological Higher Education sector. Working closely with representatives from the seven higher education institutes, we facilitated workshops to define the breadth of the project, develop a selection of routes based on their feedback and craft an identity system that could be flexible and inclusive.
Together with typographer Bobby Tannam, we developed a custom word marque, aimed at addressing the rather unwieldy project title. For the brand pattern, we assigned geometric shapes to each of the partner organisations and combining them into numerous distinct designs.
We established a tone of voice and brand personality reflecting the project’s ambition and the energy of its participants. The result was a vibrant identity that captured the voice of the universities involved, the goals of the project and engaged both staff and students alike. Our online brand guidelines provides simple access to all resources needed for print and digital asset creation.
Our collaboration extended to creating a suite of marketing materials. These included brochures, exhibition stands, and digital banners, all designed to maintain consistency across various platforms. We made sure these tools were not only visually appealing but also informative and easy to navigate.
