For forty years Castlecabin have been manufacturing temporary and nZeb (Nearly Zero Energy Building Standard) modular buildings for the education, healthcare, and commercial sectors. They felt their original name did not reflect the true capabilities of their offering, so for their 40th year in business, they tasked us with developing a brand identity that would better reflect their new name, Modulacc, their high-quality products, and commitment to sustainable and environmental practices.
To reflect the modular and adaptive nature of Modulacc’s offering, we set out to develop a graphic system that could shift, alter and rearrange itself. Using geometric shapes, centred around a simplistic representation of a building, we were able to develop a unique and recognisable logomark that could be expanded into a brand pattern. These assets were developed with digital application in mind, as well as environmental and vehicle applications.
To punctuate the brand unveiling, we were tasked with developing a video piece that would communicate the renaming and rebranding of the company, while also reinforcing the brand commitments to high-quality design and sustainability, and clearly demonstrating Modulacc’s status as a leader in their industry.
