Mervyn is a logomark/identity created for a fishy supper club and restaurant pop-up by Sebastian Skillings. The project aimed to create a friendly, playful and child-like illustrated mark in a wood-block stamp style, for use across social media and printed collateral. 

With Mervyn, Sebastian aims to push peoples’ perception of seafood and show how versatile and wonderful it can be. Designed as a moveable concept, adaptable to different scenarios, kitchens and spaces, Sebastian focuses on pairing wines with his seafood dishes in a bid to ‘demystify’ fish.

The final mark shows a rough inky painting of a fish with mouth agape, paired with GT Alpina Thin type.
