Maud Sulter: Passion is the first sustained publication on the art of Maud Sulter (1960-2008) and artist and writer of Scottish and Ghanaian heritage who lived and worked in Britain. It accompanies the exhibition, Maud Sulter: Passion at Street Level Photoworks in Glasgow, 25 April - 21 June 2015.

Maud Sulter: Passion showcases the artist's major photographic series including Zabat (1989), Hysteria (1991), Syrcas (1993) and Les Bijoux (2002) alongside a range of lesser-known works. A section from the artist's archives includes test prints, print materials and installation shots that illuminate her working practice and document her exhibitions. A selection of Maud Sulter's poems in included, especially those that relate to or were exhibited alongside her artworks. Texts include Mark Haworth Booth's probing interview with Maud Sulter in 1991, "Poetry--In Motion", a new essay by Deborah Cherry on the relationship between Maud Sulter's art and writing, a List of works, and extensive bibliography of work by and about Maud Sulter.
