Looksee

Looksee is a spinnable greeting card to welcome new babies.

‍Research shows that early visual development is improved by looking at high contrast, black and white shapes and patterns. Simple geometric designs help to focus attention and improve scanning and tracking skills. This means that Looksee doubles up as a greeting card and a useful, interactive tool for babies’ progress.

Having identified a gap in the market, I designed and launched this range of baby focussed greeting cards in 2024. Looksee cards are now stocked in a number of shops in Dublin (Hark, Project29, MiraMira).

I also designed the logo and accompanying brand identity system, alongside a Looksee website which features a fun 'spin on scroll' interactive element.

The cards are risograph printed in Dublin on recycled stock, and include a custom 3D printed clip which secures the spinnable discs in a baby-safe manner.
