Looking East

Looking East is a temporary exhibition presented by EPIC The Irish Emigration Museum in partnership with the Department of Foreign Affairs. It explores three centuries of connections between Ireland and India.

The design is inspired by framing devices used within Indian imagery and architecture. Gold vinyl is used to elevate the graphic panels and references the prominence of the precious metal in Indian culture.

A flexible display system was designed to showcase reproductions of archival material with a backdrop of key images and quotes. This will be reused for future exhibitions.
