Loam

Loam is a restaurant whose menu is obsessively seasonal and local,

“Our philosophy here is only to use ingredients that are from the west of Ireland. We do not allow ourselves to use spices, so we have to go out and find flavours from other places. The same goes for the likes of lemons and olive oil, so it’s a challenge”

In essence their food is a product of the soil or Loam of the west of Ireland. To that end, we designed a identity in conjunction with Enda from Loam, that is clean and modern but also shows that Loam is influenced by it’s roots in the soil.

We also commissioned Guy Cresswell, to do 4 seasonal illustrations, which were printed as lino cuts. These work across the Loam printed material, and they are framed and on the walls too. All printed material was on recycled stock in keeping with the Loam’s sustainable ethos.
