Life is for Living (2014)

Age and Opportunity published ‘Life is for Living’ to celebrate 25 years promoting positive attitudes towards ageing and older people in Ireland. Each story in the book – featuring hand rendered typography illustrated by Kathi Burke, combined with water colour patterns in a spectrum of colours – encourages the reader to shape their life at every age and to continue to challenge themselves.

With contributions from well-known public figures such as writer Edna O’Brien, Tony Ward, Olivia O’Leary, Christy Moore and Pauline Bewick, the book tells us about the events that have shaped their lives – as well as their hopes for the future.
