Late at the Library, an after-hours series of events held at the National Library of Ireland in collaboration with the Night Time Economy Scheme, occurred during the Autumn of 2023.
These free events, extending into the late evening, featured live traditional music, stand-up comedy, private tours, spoken word, and literary readings. The initiative aimed to introduce the library to a new audience, challenging perceptions of what a library can offer.
The identity was created by combining the opening of a book and the sun setting. The shapes had to link into the curves found within the main logo mark while feeling like a fresh and unique offering from the library.
