The hope for the new identity is to build on this success. Lands proposed a visual refresh rather than designing an identity without any connection to the existing brand. We created a modern identity that still represents the rich history surrounding the firm, refined, memorable, and recognisable as the trusted JAS brand. 

We updated the existing wordmark, icon and colour palette as part of the refresh. The new mark is set in the contemporary typeface Dashiell Fine. The elegance of the face, its strength and crisp serifs mean it's a perfect choice for a modern legal practice with a considerable history. We provided a new office stationery set and a comprehensive style guide outlining proper usage of the updated identity.
