When the Irish Pharmaceutical company Zeon Healthcare acquired the Human+Kind beauty brand, they sought to rejuvenate its identity and commitment to sustainability. Our challenge was to craft a refreshed brand identity and a rejuvenated look for the packaging range that would breathe new life into the brand. While the logotype itself would have to remain due to trademarking, all other elements were to be revisited in the rebrand.

Drawing inspiration from the name, we conceptualised a solution centered around the organic form of the human fingerprint. Its linear, delicate design serves as a powerful visual symbol and emblem of care and individuality, from the human touch and the uniqueness of each product to its natural purity and gentle kindness to the skin. To further reinforce the brand's ethos, we incorporated the ‘skincare with a conscience’ tagline into this distinctive asset. This fingerprint motif became a cornerstone of the new identity, guiding the overall design across all touch points. 

By expanding and evolving this element, we created a cohesive visual language that was both elegant and modern. We designed a range of icons to further enhance the story and carefully curated a refined colour palette, thoughtfully chosen to add pops of colour that reflect the natural ingredients.

The packaging underwent a full transformation. Gone are the former busy visuals, with multiple messaging. In its place, a clean, contemporary, elegant aesthetic was born. With a softer colour palette, simplified typography, and clearer messaging, the new design is both refined and appealing to Human + Kind's conscientious customers. The brand’s commitment to sustainability shines through with the introduction of eco-friendly packaging materials — sugarcane tubes and recyclable polypropylene lids. For the gifting market, we designed a range of elegant Christmas boxes with sleeves and a Christmas cracker novelty piece, printed and packaged using FSC paper stocks.

The result is a unified design that elevates the brand and aligns with its ethos of natural beauty and mindful living.
