Harnessing Abundance

For its 2024 Budget Submission, Ibec called on Government to use a significant portion of tax revenues to establish a new National Infrastructure Fund. The Budget Submission would be called ‘Harnessing Abundance’.

We created a system of graphic icons made up of equipment designed to harness energy - like windmills, watermills and combines - and set them in motion with gradients and repetition. Once in motion, these cold mechanical icons blossom and take on more uplifting organic forms to hint at the potential growth a National Infrastructure Fund could offer. A gradient colour palette with overtones of Springtime reinforces the concept of propulsion and potential.

Each icon was assigned to a key message from Ibec’s Budget Submission. Along with the Budget Submission report, social media outputs were developed for each of the key messages and a 4 leaf A5 concertina was printed for the Budget Submission summary.
