Handmade Soap Company Brand Refresh, Set Design

Working closely with the company founder we came up with the shoot concept and art directed a suite of new imagery for the brand’s update. We developed six sets to showcase the four fragrances for around fifty products. We agreed on an overhead angle to add depth and wanted to take away from the usual ‘flat’ nature of studio imagery with our mixed product cloud and beach scenes. To focus on the ‘handmade’ element of the company ethos we created some rough and ready versions of the geometric flowers in wood, hand-drawing over the original illustrations and scanning them in to send to be CNC’d. We worked with photographer Evan Doherty on developing the look and feel of the photos which we shot in his studio in Dublin 2.
