This year, the Visual Communication Design course at IADT underwent a rebrand and name change. We were asked to articulate the course's core philosophy, key differences and advantages in a new visual identity for the programme and to create a website archive platform to display students work.
We landed on a layering and arranging concept to represent the iterative process which each project goes through before it reaches its final outcome. The concept also highlights the hands-on/analogue aspects of the course, along with the diverse skillset that students will have when they graduate.
In our copy and branding strategy we emphasised the extensive range of multidisciplinary skills that students would acquire through the course and the high standard of graduates through testimonials from employers and the stories of the many successful graduates.
