Gernot Wieland 'Thievery and Songs' book

Book design for the artist Gernot Wieland. His work is primarily video essays which juxtapose fact and fiction, horror and humour, and profundity and triviality. The design employs cropped films strips to signify movement, as well as a playful layout for his drawings and diagrams. English and German texts use colour-coded paper to help guide the reader, and to reflect the warmth of his work.
