From Malin Head to Mizen Head charts a journey around Ireland via the daily Sea Area Forecast on RTÉ Radio 1. The challenge was to represent the familiar, comforting (yet often incomprehensible) language of the sea area forecast in an immediate and attractive form.

My approach was to illustrate Ireland with the definitive sea areas in place, each representing different flavours of meteorlogical forecasting, from stormy seas to weather charts. 

The tone of voice is warm and approachable, reflecting the timeless and comforting nature of listening to the Sea Area Forecast.
