Fishwives by Goatsbridge

Having worked with Goatsbridge Trout Farm to create their brand a number of years ago, the original fishwife and trout enthusiast, Mag Kirwan, came to us with an ambitious idea, to create a fish cookbook consisting almost entirely of trout recipes, all by women, with proceeds going to Hospice Africa Uganda. 

With the strong female focus in terms of contributors, she settled on the name ‘Fishwives’. Each recipe page features a short bio about the contributor. The book contains 78 recipes in total including some big names like Darina Allen and Mary Harney.

We commissioned food photographer Joanne Murphy to photograph each dish. The dust jacket features some of these images, with white foiled Turquoise Colorplan stock used for the inside cover.
