Fair Seas General Election Manifesto

The Fair Seas General Election Manifesto urges the next Irish government to prioritise environmental goals by 2030, including designating 30% of Irish waters as Marine Protected Areas, with 10% under strict protection. It calls for robust management of these areas, the development of a comprehensive Ocean Environment Policy, and full implementation of the Common Fisheries Policy to ensure sustainable fisheries and protect marine biodiversity.

The document is 450mmx 320mm with three folds to make eight panels. The back and front cover and Fair Seas recommendations are on one side of the document. The introduction, areas of action and recommendations are on the reverse.

Regarding sustainability, using the full SRA3 sheet and not bleeding colours to the edge means there was no need to trim excess paper, resulting in a zero-waste production process. Recycled paper stock and non-toxic vegetable-based inks were also used in the process.
