Extract is a screen-based font designed to be viewed on a digital platform. However, when placed in a different context such as a physical environment or displayed statically by way of print, the letterforms can be used and interpreted in new ways. This 'extraction' from its original form further extends the intent behind the typeface – to give new meaning to something abstract and artificial.
