In its role as the province’s business development agency, Nova Scotia Business Inc. celebrates the success of Nova Scotian exporters at the Export Achievement Awards held each year in Halifax.
In 2018, the ‘Exportant’ campaign was developed to advertise the call for nominations, attract sponsors and sell tickets for the awards ceremony. ‘Exportant’ highlighted the fact that companies who export make an important contribution to the provincial economy. The theme was supported by imagery that juxtaposed some Nova Scotian exports (seafood, tyres, beer, digital media and brainpower) with the various modes of transport used to reach global markets.
The campaign was rolled out across digital and print platforms resulting in 61 businesses being nominated in seven award categories.
