Dice Academy

Letterkenny Institute of Technology has been fostering creativity in the North West for almost 50 years. This year the Department of Design has developed DICE_TY Academy, a creativity and entrepreneurship programme that stems from LYIT’s annual DICE [Design Innovation Creativity Enterprise] conference. 100 students from 5 secondary schools in Co. Donegal worked with the IT and other industry collaborators, on a brief set by Failte Ireland/Wild Atlantic Way.

We were responsible for developing a visual language, promotional material, workbook and website that shared the tone of the original conference’s identity but would appeal to the younger TY audience. It was important that the students felt ownership of the project and that the UNIQUE creative process developed by LYIT was a central theme to our work.
