In the heart of Cork, Nano Nagle Place became a hub of creative energy during Design Pop, a Design and Architecture Festival in September 2023. Against the backdrop of its historic surroundings, the festival focussed on the themes of Urban Regeneration and Creative Community.
A visual style for the festival was established focussing on bright, engaging visuals echoing the dynamic convergence of worlds and the collaborative spirit of the creative community. Attendees were captivated by crafted pavilions by featured exhibitors showcasing innovative design concepts, each a testament to the festival's commitment to pushing the boundaries of architecture and design. A series of engaging social media posts brought this energy and enthusiasm to the digital world, whilst a number of sustainably sourced printed materials brought a physical aspect to the festival.
From interactive exhibits to thought-provoking conversations, the festival served as a catalyst for envisioning and shaping the future of sustainable urban landscapes. It was a celebration of creativity, collaboration, and the boundless potential of design to inspire positive change.
