This project was completed for Croí, a leading heart and stroke charity based in Galway. Croí wanted to improve their overall communication around prevention of heart attack and stroke while also adding some colour and life into their purpose-built headquarters, Croí House, to make it both a welcoming space and an educational asset to the organisation.

Leading the project, I researched and evaluated all of their existing communication around prevention of heart attack and stroke and simplified this information into short pieces of action-led copy to inspire people visiting the building to take control of their health in achievable ways. Inspired by the iconic Croí heart logo, I developed a colour palette, illustration suite and typographic system to communicate this message of prevention, and applied these to a series of wall graphics and window installations throughout the building.

This project was completed as part of the IDI Designer in Residence programme 2024, which paired five designers in Ireland with an organisation based in the west of the country to solve a unique design problem. The project was funded and supported by the Institute of Designers in Ireland, Galway Local Enterprise Office and Galway Culture Company.
