Craft Con
2014
Craft Con is a one-day event hosted by IBM Studios Austin – home of the IBM Design division. The conference brings together studio designers and industry professionals to share experiences, stories, skills and expertise, creative triumphs, happy accidents...and occasional disasters.
As creatives, we are continually ideating, testing and making in an effort to find the most innovative and appropriate solution for our audience. This iterative, ongoing process of a designer / maker / craftsperson's work is reflected in the 2016 Craft Con typographic identity – one of the core outputs of the event. The generative letterforms, each constructed with circular motifs, reflects the fluid, incessant and continual motion of a creative's workflow.
