In reimagining the brand for the Cork International Film Festival, we embarked on a journey to honour its legacy while infusing it with renewed vitality. The project involved revisiting the iconic logo, refreshing colour palettes, refining typography, and curating imagery that captured the essence of cinematic storytelling. For the 68th edition, our campaign creative centered on ‘a continued tradition of discovery’. We crafted visuals that evoked the excitement of uncovering hidden gems and rediscovering the magic of cinema. Through a harmonious blend of nostalgia and innovation, our design approach aimed to resonate with both loyal patrons and new audiences, inviting them to embark on a cinematic adventure like never before.
A lens was used as the anchor for the festival, whilst acting as a container for images of past and present. With each element carefully curated, our visual identity breathed new life into the festival, reaffirming its position as a beacon of cinematic excellence in Cork and beyond.
