Catalyst is a small coffee shop located in Bray and is run by three local young men, Luke Gorman, Nathan Walsh and Ross Nolan.
The name and logo are derived from Luke's background in science. A catalyst is an enzyme that drives a change or reaction. Catalyst Coffee's mission is to be that change or reaction in their community and greater society by pushing for more progressive ideas to promote a sustainable and environmentally conscious lifestyle. The benzene ring used in the visual identity is a common structure in chemistry and the two arms add aesthetic and symmetry.
Catalyst also runs events with their sub brand "Catalyst Club" and they help promote up and coming musicians from all genres.
