A new development in the heart of the medieval city of Kilkenny. The Abbey Quarter is situated on the site of the old Smithwicks Brewery where the ancient St. Francis Abbey is located.
The identity takes its inspiration from the distinctive arched windows of the remaining Abbey ruins to form the symbol with a strong palette of yellow, black and grey from the black and amber colours of county Kilkenny. The line LIV. WRK. NJOY KLKNY. has been devised to appeal to a young professional audience and blend old world charm with a city that’s vibrant and technically advanced with a strong design culture.
