2023 Signal Type Foundry Poster

In the late 19th century, there was a vogue for ‘streamers,’ wood type letters reversed out of solid blocks, which were assembled into banner-like cartouches, generally with ornamental end pieces. These were the inspiration for this B2 self-promotional poster for a type foundry and design office, which folds down to B5 for mailing. Printed in two matched colors on 100gsm Munken Print and laid out on a grid based on the mailer’s folds.
