I was asked by the excellent Katie Kidd and Avril Delaney of Vote for Women to participate in an exhibition that was held in Hen's Teeth between the 10—17th of May 2018, ahead of the referendum on choice. The exhibition aimed to represent the past generations of speaking out and to put a spotlight on the imagery and language used to highlight injustices, challenge the status quo and call for change.
The inspiration for my poster was the frustration I felt ahead of the upcoming referendum, something that many people experienced. Fittingly, the message came from the protest posters of the Irish suffragette’s that have gone before us.
All proceeds went towards the campaign by Together For Yes.
