We created campaign branding and a fold out poster to promote The Ark’s visual art season. Comprising a series of workshops and an exhibition, the focus was on the creative possibilities of a wide range of everyday materials. We focused on the materials and tools, leaving the possibilities to the imaginations of the young audience. We presented them in a graphic pattern, reproducing the materials at life size on a large fold-out poster and using a gold ink as the background colour. The scale of the poster, look, feel and smell of the ink on light paper all helped to convey the message in a physical way. The poster also worked well as venue dressing, being used to create a fun tabletop pattern.
